Hackett is a sophisticated fashion brand for menswear that stays authentic with the iconical British style in every piece they create. After more than twenty years dressing men with high quality clothes, their experience and name is widely known.

the goal 🎯

An international common space to attract new talent to their stores and offices and unify their job applications was needed. The page needed to show the spirit of the brand, their values and way of working, and the job openings posted regularly.

The previous Career site had general information about both Retail and Offices opportunities with very long paragraphs and a layout that wasn’t attractive. There weren’t any filtering options when looking for a vacancy, so users had to click one by one in each country in order to look for an interesting offer, which was inefficient and slow.

My role in this project was that of lead designer.

crafting the solution 💭

Working on the information architecture included thinking solutions to improve the navigation for candidates wanting to apply for stores or offices. A deep study of wireframes was carried out to reach the best way to arrange the content in a user-friendly way.

Designs were done thinking in mobile-first, as our target was mainly looking for a job through its smartphone. The layout solves the previous version’s pain-points by easing the user’s actions in advance with links.

Fixed navigation with links to Retail and Offices offers in desktop due to more space. The page needed to breathe with only the necessary elements to keep the brand’s clean style.

The brand already has a powerful visual image that suits its values. The fonts used in their website are clear, British and elegant, with a modern feel. The main brand color is the Navy blue, combined with different scales of gray to emphasize its impact.

The Career Site is now divided into three landing pages that combine the brand’s photographies with its style and sophistication.

It is now published and ready to navigate in the link above. Both Spanish and English options are available for national and international job offers.
